Privacy Policy

Dalilak collects the account information needed to sign you in and operate the directory, including your name, email address, and session data. We also keep content you submit, such as business listings, reviews, and reports, and moderation records needed to protect the service.

Google sign-in

If you choose Google sign-in, we receive your Google account identifier, name, email address and its verification status, and profile image when available. We use this information to create or link your Dalilak account and authenticate sign-ins. We never ask for your Google password or access Gmail, Drive, or Contacts through sign-in. Staff permissions remain attached to your Dalilak account and retain their additional verification requirements.

We store the linked account identifier and authentication credentials needed for sign-in on the server; they are not shown on public directory pages. Your Google account information is also subject to Google's privacy policy. Google Privacy Policy

Optional analytics

Directory analytics run only after your opt-in. When enabled, they count searches, profile visits, and contact clicks with a random identifier; the analytics table does not store IP addresses or search text. You can decline or withdraw consent by clearing the analytics choice in your browser.

After a separate opt-in, Google Analytics may measure page visits using cookies and browser and device data. Google may process data outside Canada. We do not send search text or account details to Google Analytics, and advertising and ad personalization remain disabled.
